Discord warnings
With the Herald power, your totem calls you on Discord when someone starts stealing it, even when you are not playing.
Herald
Herald is a one-level Base power on the Walls path. It opens at Tier II, after Alarm, and is priced like a Raid power (2 Gold Shatter Coins and 6 XP by default). Once you have it, the BSP Discord bot sends you a direct message whenever the game would warn you that your totem is being stolen:
- The warning: "Your totem on (server) is being stolen!" with the server, where, the thief and the seconds left, and "Log in and stand by your totem to stop the steal."
- The outcome: a second message when it is over: your totem is safe, and why, or it was stolen.
A thief's Shroud delays the Discord message just as it delays the in-game warning. You get at most one warning every 30 seconds.
Herald shows as locked, "This server is not linked to Discord", on a server that has not been connected to the BSP Discord.

Linking your Discord account
- In game, press LINK on Herald's card, or type
/bsp discord link. You get a six-character code that lasts ten minutes (up to five codes an hour). - In the BSP Discord, type
/link CODE. Only you see the reply, and a test message arrives in your DMs. - Check with
/bsp discord statusin game, or/linkstatusin Discord.
To unlink: /bsp discord unlink in game, or /unlink <name> in Discord.
If a warning cannot reach you, you see a line at your next login: allow DMs from the BSP server in your Discord privacy settings.
The public alert
Every steal of a player's totem, Herald or not, posts one line in the BSP Discord's alert channel: "A totem is being stolen on (server)". It names nothing else: not the owner, the thief or the place.
Describes BSP-Core 1.6.2. Numbers are the defaults; the server's settings may differ.
