Protected areas
The server marks out areas with their own rules: spawn, markets, arenas, mines. Here is what you will run into.
Regions
Staff draw regions and give each one rules: no building, no PvP, no explosions, no entry below a certain rank, a greeting as you walk in, and so on. Where regions overlap, the higher-priority one decides. Inside a region only its owners and members may build.
You will notice them as:
- a greeting or title when you walk in, and a farewell when you leave;
- being turned back at the edge of an area you may not enter, with the reason;
- blocks that will not break or place, doors that will not open, PvP that does nothing.
Some areas are kept for ranks: reach the rank and you are let in. See RankUp.
Banned blocks
An area can ban chosen blocks and items. Each ban has one of four rules:
| Rule | In the area |
|---|---|
| PLACE | It cannot be placed. You may still store it in a chest inside. |
| USE | It cannot be right-clicked, and does nothing in hand. |
| BREAK | It cannot be broken. |
| CARRY | It is not allowed in at all. |
With a CARRY ban you are turned back at the edge, and a window shows each banned thing you hold and where it is ("in Shulker Box"), including inside backpacks and shulker boxes and in Curios slots. Teleporting in with one is refused too. Inside, banned items on the ground cannot be picked up, no container hands one out (the ender chest included), and anyone found holding one is moved just outside.

The world border
Every world has a square border. You are warned 10 blocks before the edge and pushed back at it; anyone found outside is put back on solid ground. Teleports and homes outside the border are refused. Some edges lead to another server: see Travelling between worlds.
The Shatter Totem rule
No area ever makes a totem impossible to steal. Near another player's placed totem in a PvP world, regions do not stop a raider.
