Moving around
Requests to and from other players, spawn, back and random teleports, and the raid rules every teleport follows.
Teleport requests
From the band's Players tab, or by command:
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/tpa <player> |
Ask to go to a player. You land where they stood when they accepted. |
/tpahere <player> |
Ask a player to come to you. They land where you stood when you asked. |
/tpaall |
Ask everyone online to come to you |
/tpaccept, /tpdeny |
Answer a request |
/tpignore |
Ignore requests |
/tpcancel |
Cancel your own teleport during its warm-up |
A request lasts 60 seconds (by default).
Spawn, back and random
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/spawn |
The network's spawn. New players arrive there a few seconds after their first login. |
/back |
Where you last teleported from, or where you died, whichever is newer |
/rtp [server] |
A random spot, on this server or another |
If you die with no bed or respawn anchor, you respawn at that server's own spawn point. Neither a respawn nor a first visit ever moves you to another server.
A random teleport lands you in a ring around spawn, between 500 and 5,000 blocks out (by default), inside the world border, never in lava or on a cactus. Pick another server from the band's More tab and that server finds the spot.
Raids and teleports
The pack's promise is that nobody can make a Shatter Totem impossible to steal, so teleports never give a raid away:
- A teleport is not a logout. Your carried totem is taken the moment you leave a server and handed back when you arrive.
- Nothing lands within 150 blocks (by default) of a totem of yours while it is being stolen. The Recall power is the quick way back.
- Team teleports never land within 150 blocks of any steal in progress on the network.
- Random teleports keep at least 200 blocks from any raid.
- A thief who has just taken a totem cannot teleport straight away.
- Areas can forbid teleporting in, teleporting out, or setting a home.
One voice on the network
"Steve joined the game" appears once, when Steve joins the network, not every time Steve moves between servers. Moving between servers is never announced, so nobody can follow a player around by watching chat.
Describes Teleport 0.2.5. Numbers are the defaults; the server's settings may differ.
